water in passenger foot well
I noticed some water in the passenger foot well after some big splashes from this mornings rain. I had it once before after a power wash. It feels like it is dripping from the fan box. I assume it's entering via the vents behind the bonnet , Are there draining holes or spalsh guard that I need to check for?

HI Andries.
Check for blockadges on the sides off the top vents. Had the same thing happend on my old patrol, wife park under trees at work, the leaves and dust block the drainadge areas.

Re: water in passenger foot well
I disposed off half of the atlantis dunes' sand in Kempton Park, after moving here and realising water drainage/hot&cold air circulation was not working. Sand entered throught the vents in the bonnets after tackling a few dunes that was too steep for the ARB bumper...

Re: water in passenger foot well
If the heater radiator is leaking you will smell the antifreeze the moment you open the vents. See that the drain pipe of the airconditioner at the bottom of the fan/evaporator is still in its place ,that is a common fault of water in the footwell

Re: water in passenger foot well
I found the problem. The little plastic widgets that hold the vent tray below the windscreen was broken when the windscreen was replaced. The 2nd, 3rd one from left enters the cabin directly and if they don;t seal you will be surprised on the amount of water that can enter.
