Manne what counts:
The black plastic cover that is in front of the steering damper in the front of the 4.5 - is that only to protect the damper or does it have another function as well?
Again - grommets - this thing is fixed by those plastic (push-through) grommets - where to find?
Thanks!

Re: Plastic cover under 4.5 engine?
Hello Navigator
This cover cannot protect the steering damper or anything else, it is far too weak. It's purpose is purely earodynamic. Also, it is supposed to be retained by 4 M8 bolts, not those plastic clips. If you look carefully, you will see the four holes are threaded.
However if you want protction for the steering damper and arms, bash plates are available that replace the plastic cover. I am baised, but I beleive that mine is both the strongest and the cheapest you are likely to find, go and have a look in 4x4 accesories and equipment/vehicle accesories. I actually have bash plates in stock now for your 4.5.
