Y60 / GQ body parts
Hello Everybody,
I'm new to this forum and, in fact, new to the Nissan Patrol. Recently bought a '94 Patrol. Lots of work required but will post some pictures and a proper introduction after phase 1 is completed.
I require a few minor parts, But the quotation I got from Parrow Nissan was horrifying, to say the least:
LH Flasher/indicator lense R997.20
Weatherstrip (Rubber at bottom of front door windows, apparantly the same part for LHS & RHS) R737.15
Mudflap R1 012.89
Mirror (same price LHS & RHS) R2956.20
These prices are ex VAT!
Does anybody know where I can find these parts at a more reasonable price?
Over the coming weekend I will take some pictures and post it, there is a fairly long list of minor and cosmetic issues. Several questions I got answered by searching through older posts, but there a are a few issues I believe people around here has got first hand knowledge and experience off.
The vehicle odometer indicates 281 000 and looking at the wear and tear on the steering wheel, pedals etc it seems realistic. The fuel consumption From Upington to Cape Town was in the vicinity of about 6km/litre, the distance measured corresponding well to the known distance of the route I travelled.
Regards and thanks in advance!
Marnus

Hallo Marnus

Lekker dag!

Re: Y60 / GQ body parts
Sien nou dit sê "Sorry, board attachment quota has been reached."

Hi,
I find a better way to put pictures on a forum is to upload them to something like imageshack and then copy and past the forum script into your post. That way you can put decent sized pictures on here without chewing up the forums bandwidth.
