That is an option, but for the moment I will drive lockerless (if that"s even a word)

I recently had both my axles swapped out for Manual 4.8 axles by Errol. He gave me a really good price to do it & he was very fast too.
I didn't know Errol deals in axles!

You dont want to be driving with grinding paste in the diff...

:mytwocents:
yes, I'm pretty sure. If there is any left, it will be very fine and will be picked up by the magnet.

Errol did the hard work of swapping them. AFAIK he doesn't supply...

My difflock broke last year while doing ou ryperd at Moegatle.
I was halfway up the obstacle when it broke with a loud banging noise.
After that the left wheel was spinning in the air with knocking noises coming from the diff.
While driving the next day I found that the locker works if I turn left but as soon as I turn right, it makes the knock sounds again.
It was repaired in Feb this year but I must still test it on a proper obstacle.

This is how the broken parts look like.

Exactly what happened to mine, except there is no noise from the diff at all.

This weekend is diff-draining time
