Ok. some feedback: changed the gearbox oil on Sunday. :salute:

Before:
My wife started complaining that the gears are difficult to change on cold mornings.
When driving hard in 3rd, then wanting to do a quick change to 4th, the gears scratched and battled to go into 4th causing vehicle to loose too much momentum to maintain a decent speed. (this is now on mountainous roads, hazyview-sabie, white river-sabie, etc).

After changing oil:
Smooth gear changing on early cold mornings.
Able to maintain decent speed when switching to 4th, after driving hard in 3rd - no scratching, feels like a different vehicle.

I ended up using only about 3.3l of oil. (Think the capacity is 3.8l?)

Only used castrol syntrans 75w-90 gl4 oil.

Nice Fanus, bly jou ratkas ruil weer mooi ratte.
