'n "klak, klak, klak" geluid in 4x4

Nuut in Patrol land, so vergeef my onkunde. Het onlangs vir my 4.8/2003 aangeskaf met 230 00 km op klok. Beplan om Julie die skedelkus te doen.
Ek het hom Saterdag gaan uittoets op duine naby Struisbaai en dit was ongelooflik! Ongelukkig het daar later, veral as ek draai, 'n "klak" geluid van onder gekom en het vererger. Met een styl duin het hy dit erg gedoen, asof die dryfas glip. Het besluit om maar eerder huis toe te gaan. Die 4x4 het nog gewerk tot ek uit die duine was en geen geluide verder nadat hy terug in 2x4 was nie. Kan iemand asb vir my lyding gee wat dit kan wees, en waar in die Kaap is daar iemand wat ken van die Patrols?

Wekom hier ....free wheel hub is jou probleem daar kontak frans fourie hy is daar in julle area verstaan patrols baie mooi :thumbup:

Wat bedoel julle met free wheel hubs?

My hubs het 'n auto en 'n lock posissie. Hy was op auto gestel met die geraas.

Ok in auto wanneer die voorste prop draai draai jou diff en draai jou drive shafts jou wiel lock aan die driveshaft weens die wig binne in die hub .....so as hy haak los haak los is hulle gewoonlik stukkend

As jy hard 4x4 is dit altyd beter om die hubs met 'n spanner te sluit.

Dit kan dalk ook die diff lock wees...
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Dit is my volgende probleem. Die diff lock wil nie inskop nie. Ek het met Frans gepraat en ek gaan by hom 'n draai maak.

Ek sien baie van die manne vervang hul auto hubs met manual hubs, maar dit wil voorkom dit is moeilik bekombaar. Watter maak stel julle voor as ek hulle sou wou vervang en waar kan ek hulle koop?
