Kan ek my Safari veilig A-frame vir 300km sonder om propshaft af te haal. Net tc en gearbox in neutral???

My 1983 model is nog steeds in 'n goeie kondisie en het al meer as 340000km en ek is baie gelukkig met hom en kan ook baie goed 4x4 ry met hom! :thumbup:

Don't see a problem doing that, just don't get bust by the cops! Anything above 750kg is supposed to be braked when towing :surprised:

Ek sou die propshaft agter los maak.
Daar is altyd 'n kans, hoe klein ook al, dat die Safari in rat kom, dan voeter jy hom op.
Doen dit eers na jy die A-frame vas het, want na die propshaft los is, werk jou handrem nie meer nie.

Ons het altyd ons suzuki sj410 so henties toe gesleep agter die hi ace kombi en die trailer agter hom .....eendag toe is daar n gat in die pad en toe spring die transfer in rat....amper die kombi omgegooi want wiele het gelock op 120 :surprised:
Nuwe transfer nuwe ratkas en nuwe skoon onderbroeke :lol:
Het toe j brackets gemaak en dit het 5min n kant gevat om voor en agter propshafts los te maak op die diff flange en in j braket te sit .....dis die regte veilige plan :woo:

Het al Yster Noordkaap toe en terug gesleep agter my 3.2 Ford. Geen probleem, maak net seker dat altwee die ratkaste in neutraal is.

Het hom gehaak agter my NP300, net om te toets. Die np300 stuur toe nie die safari se neus, maar die safari die np300 se gat.

Plan was om hom te sleep agter navara, maar as hy so speel met no300 teen 10km/h, vat ek nie die kans met navara teen 80 nie....

Het hom toe maar net self gery op vakansie, vroulief het haar navara gevat.
