Bly jy het reg gekom.

Het jy oorspronklike pomp vervang of net 'n addisionele inline pomp in gesit?

Rob Green gebruik ook die Walbro met sy super charger ombouings :thumbup:

LOBO loop met n 320 DIESEL BMW se pomp ..
Nou -- as mens so n merske druk op die system sit wat 200 litre + kan gooi .. bedinges dit nounie die injectors en wat nog, nie? En maak hy nie "overfuel" nie ??? .. en wat kos so n kontrepsie ? [AS ik een op LOBO sou wou sit .. vorentoe ?]

Walbro koop ek by KS motorsport in Kaap, of bestel van die US af....
Daars baie ander pompe wat sal werk, amper enige intank pomp uit, Isuzu, Nissan, Toyota sal werk, patrol hardloop met n VDO, party het BOSCH in.... Solank die pomp die druk kan handhaaf.....
Die pomp sal niks beinvloed nie, die fuel pressure regulator sal daarvoor sorg, die res van die petrol hardloop net terug tenk toe in die return line....
Die pomp is so R1100.
Ek replace die pomp binne in die tenk.... Ek stem nie saam met n inline pomp nie, maw 2 pompe wat kan moeilikheid gee.... Die regte manier is 1 pomp in die tenk wat die job kan doen.... Walbro 255 is probably as good as it gets.... Ek gebruik die pompe al lank....

Changing the pump on my 4.5 made a MASSIVE difference.

Thank you Brosdoring. Seems like pumps are a weak point on the 4.8. Is the Walboro a much more durable and reliable pump?

Hi David, ekt maar net genoem hoe ek voel..... :thumbup: Vra net vir n Walbro 255 INTANK pomp... Even die eletriese plug pas net so op hom...
Die Walbro is nie noodwendig beter as VDO nie, VDO is top duitse produk, maar ek weet Walbro is reliable.... Made in USA, so dis maar n ford of Jeep part :rolling:
Ek gaan nog 1 koop en as ek ver toer sal hy maar saam gaan as spare....
Ek moet se, ek lees van baie issue op 4.5 en 4.8s.... Die pomp ding lyk my gebeur gelydelik.... Ek dink OEM VDO pomp is plyn weg te lig vir die 4.8....
Die vorige eienaar se vir my hy het redelik teleurgesteld gewees in die 4.8.... Dis nou toe ek vir hom begin noem dat hier n fout is.... Nou is ek baie impress..... Ek kon nie n lee bees wa wat skaars 500kg weeg oor 90km/h sleep in 4de nie.... Ek moes 3de rat 4500rpm gooi om hier by 110+ te kom.... Amper die patrol weer verkoop!!!

Julle manne wie se voertuie al kilos op het, of ouerig is, vervang daai pomp, ek dink julle sal n surprise kry, veral die manne wat voel hulle voertuie is lui....

Daai patrol se ecu is baie slim ....hy verstel alles somme vinnig om met verkeerde druk te loop ....mens verloor perfomance en verbruik .....
Graham het n pressure gauge met lang flex pyp wat hy tussen die engine en pyp koppel dan kan jy sien wat die kar doen as hy hom trap .....om te meet is om te weet :thumbup:
As jou enine nie genoeg petrol kry nie gaan hy nie ry nie :rolling:

Al gesien hoeveel gemors uit die petrol tenk uit kom as jy jou petrol filter vervang? Ek dink baie Patrols se pompe pomp al minder oor 'n lang tydperk a.g.v. slytasie en jy kom dit nie agter nie want dit het nie vinnig gebeur nie.

Ek oorweeg dit nog sterk om sommer permanent 'n Fuel Pressure gauge in te bou want dit gaan ook vir jou wys wanneer jou petrol filter vuil is.

Dink ek moet maar my Patrol so bietjie bederf en vir hom 'n pomp koop vir Kersfees en dan my huidige een as spare gebruik want hy is nog redelik ok maar 8 jaar oud! :thumbup:
