Today being fairly to F%$#%$# hot, my aircon started acting up.
The ambient here at the moment is in the high 30's, and as Lady Luck would have it the aircon is doing funny things. It will work as normal, and then all of the sudden start blowing piping hot air through all the vents. The air is definiately hotter than outside air, so that indicates that it is being heated by engine water?
The faulty heater flap theory can not apply as it does cool for a bit an then heat again.
The "freezing" could be the problem, but then why is air piping hot when the pump goes off. I must add that when it is working it works very well, so I do not think it could be a combination of both scenarios.
Any advice would be appreciated
