Hi, I found this Weber carburettor which doesn't seem to enjoy a lot of attention on the world wide web. I would like to try and mount it on one of my Safari's but apparently the 36/38 is better choices. What would the clever guys say about this piece of metal?
Weber 40 DCNVH -21-100 3L
Here is what I found sofar about it...
Single two twin choke non progressive Performance carburettor with 28mm Venturi
40mm throttle plates,
DC = Double Throat
N = Non Progressive
V = Power Valve
H = High Pressure Turbo
This Carburettor is for mid 80's Maserati BiTurbo 2.5 v6 18v 185-210bhp, this is a very rare Carburettor as they are pressurised so when the boost comes on it does not empty out the fuel float which you get on normal carburettors such as Weber 32/34 DMTL.

Re: Weber 40 ??
You don't think there's a Maserati collector who would swop you that for a 38?
