The Conversion is almost done, i have been driving it for 4 months now, we need to tie up a few small things like the speedo and rev counter calibration, the aircon is almost done and then i need to build a proper aircleaner system.
The fuel pin, intercooler etc. that was planned is not going to happen, i am so happy with the fuel consumption and power that i don't want to touch anything.
I will do t a full write-up on all the pro's and cons, but so far i am more than happy with "Brutus"

:bravo:
Can't wait for the wrightup.
Any water temp issues?

I put a donaldson in my GQ. Filter change is R280 for the main filter
It also has a secondary filter.
It is cheaper and bigger than any Patrol standard filter.
Changing to a bigger filter has been the biggest power and driveability improvement I have made to my Car.

Only modification to make it fit was to move the radiator overflow a bit forward.

But I know the 4.5 bonnet is quite cramped for space with the rear aircon and such.

No overheating issues at all, she runs cool even at 120 up a mountain pass with a 3 ton loaded trailer, my space is limited, my 2 batteries took the aircleaner's space.
