Drain en refill ek hou nie van flush nie ruil eder weer 2000 later as jy sluge probleem het maar net olie

Depending on the oil previously used, it might be advisable to do a flush. Some oils do "create" a sludge, but if you use a good quality oil (I'm a Delo 400 believer ) then I would think that over the next few oil changes the sludge build up will slowly disperse into the oil and be drained out over those next few services... just my opinion :mytwocents: :mytwocents:

In that case I'm not going to worry about flush. Been using delo 400 the last 3 oil changes. :thumbup:

You must just drain the oil when the engine is very hot and oil thin that helps to flush all the unwanted sludge out and then repeat the exercise again after 5000km
then you can go to normal 10 000km service intervals

Ja ek het die olie lekker warm gery eers. Is nou besig om die filters te ruil.
Toe ontdek ek hierdie pypie agter die diesel filter. het dit nog nooit voorheeen opgemerk nie. Wat is dit voor, moet dit ingeprop wees? :think:

Daai pypie moet van die EGR se vacuum system wees. Lyk of hy n groen perker op het en ek dink dis moontlik die vacuum supply pypie na die solenoids by die fuse box.
Trace maar net almal en kyk waar hy uitgeglip het.

Ja die nuwe diesels se intervals is balaglik ver uitmekaar uit. Die nuwe Iveco trokke se oil changes is 120,000km uitmekaar uit......true story

Maar ja die ou kool stove is maar baie services, 5,000km of 7,500 stretching it

Seker so, maar hy gaan my BAIE meer kos per maand. So ek diens maar liewers meer gereeld. :thumbup: :lol:
