Well done,baie mooi.Ek laaik wat ek sien. :clap: :thumbup:
Net een iets wat ek sal probeer as ek jy was.Die pyp wat by die fender/snorkel ingaan,Hou hom in daai posisie,trek hom net 30mm of so terug.Maw wys nog die bek vir die snorkel.Nou hang die engine nie aan die pyp wat die snorkel help lank maak nie.Die lug vloei is nou meer vry en ook sal hy nie warm lug kry nie.Onthou net voor jy water ry van die gap tussen die twee.
Net n idee,jou setup is baie mooi.

Was daar toe n merkwaardige verbetering in jou brandstof verbruik na die Weber en bykomstighede installasie ?

Hi Jules,

Petrol verbruik in die stad verkeer is dieselfde van dat ek die Weber op gesit het as wat dit voor die tyd was, daar is wel 'n verbetering in krag/torque aangesien altwee kele gelyk oopmaak waar ons standaard carb net eers een oop maak en later by hoer rev's die vacuum die tweede keel oopmaak.

Ek het nog nie kans gehad om op die oop pad die verbruik te toets met die snorkel wat nou weer gekonnekteer is nie. Voor die Weber was my totale ave (dorp en langpad gekombineer) 4.32km/l na die Weber tot dusver 4.65km/l met die beste tot sover 5.24km/l.

Jy het lekker baie spasie daar voor om 'n donaldson in te kry, ek het probeer maar dit wou nie pas nie.

jy kannie net meddie jets rondspeel nie - jy moet die venturies ook aanpas
En ek glo nog steeds in Oom Arthur se "uitvindsel" - plaas fyn fyn baie fyn coppr gauze onder die carb [tussen carb & intake m/fold - dit "breek" die brandstof of in kleiner druppeltjies en al 6 die silinders kry dan nader aan ewe veel brandstof.
Stel jou timing 14-degrees vinniger en maak jou plug gaps 1,2 mm [jy gaan BAIE brandstof bespaar so]
Hy het my Chev Commodore 4.1 gestel dat ek 9KML gekry het met daai "lykswa" :thumbup:
