Dankie, ja ek was baie verlig... en dankbaar. Ek "nurse" hom terug in die lang km's in. Nou die dag 400km round trip gedoen sonder probleme...

Christoph, you Patrollie is in goeie hande :thumbup:

I will post some before and after pics, but there were already some problems on the cooling system which will be fixed as well.

So after doing a compression test and checking a couple of things we will be doing a low boost bolt on T2.8/T3 turbo conversion with no intercooler as Christoph just wants to get his Patrol out of donkey mode.

So finally I got round to start working on Christoph's Patrol.

The radiator's top tank was leaking quite a bit and got it sorted through Tombos :thumbup:

One small problem came up that ended up causing major delay in the converson. The one exhaust stud (obviously the one right at the back) was broken off and after two days the studd is still not out. Not even or local stud removal guy could get it out as there is just not enough space.

So we decided to pull the engine and have a look at the clutch while we are at it and get the stud removed and sorted.

Here is a pic of the manifold and turbo to be installed.

Yoh! :surprised: I also have a broken stud on my exhaust Manifold. :redface: The one closest to the firewall :rolleyes:
