The standard leaf packs in the pickup are almost as strong as they 400km constant load packs you buy from OME and TJM etc. They need ALOT of weight before they start working properly.

My bakkie feels and drives like an expty LC 105 once i load it up with work tooling and supplies,... then you 'll see how it can handle massive weight over tough uneven ground. No worries. Along with extra weight means extra Lb/square inch at the back, where rubber meets road. My BFG muddies bit hard and dont have any issues with traction, specially when loaded.

As for LSD, Nissan LSD is ecceptionally good, and if its working properly, is outstanding, and often better than diff locks in conditions such as those you pictured there. As discussed in other threads, you gotta flush it get it working properly, ... or even shim it.

Massive Rock Crawling and trail worrier stuff ,... Elocker, ARB or even Nissan Diff lock is a better choice. But patrol pickup is not meant for that, just as the wagon is not meant to have 3 kudu bulls, 4 farm labourers , 20 bags of grain, 2 hunters, double spares, and a loaded fridge all on the back... horses for courses.

Went for a quick drive this afternoon, as in 3km drive from work - at a place I like to go play sometimes. (Only had a few minutes before getting back to work).

(presies dieselfde walletjie waar my bakkie staan op my profile pic).

Klim uit toe sien ek dit:

Anti sway bar bracket snapped.
Still wanted to get extension brackets for them...

Ek stem. Vir n off road monster. Weekend warrior tipe kar. Haal dit uit. Maar vir DKW doeleindes los dit in. Kry extended brackets. Myne was R560 vir agter.
Jy gaan hom in teen n geskate spoed. Gaan jy hom rol.
Being alive is a Blessing!!

Joshua

Fanus, I took my front ones out and extended my rear ones to fit the 2" lift and mine handeles great.
I drove it for a while without the rear sway bar, but it has allot of body rol and put it back for safety purposes.
