Re: 4500GRX: Nou het ek twee Patrols...
Hoeveel skat julle hierdie lift(Old man Emu), lyk vir my na meer as 'n 5cm lift? .

I guess that Fanus thinks that the OEM suspension gives him quite a bit of ground clearance without being sure what a comparable measurement of a standard vehicle would be.
Joshuas way of measuring is the way it is done in order to determine the suspension height before and after new springs/ shocks have been fitted.
To Fanus:
Mine is a standard 2001 / 4.5
I recently fitted 4.8 oils (which had about 80 tkm on) + Rancho shocks (meant for standard vehicle heights)
So... all fairly standard. Same tyres than yours / 265 / 70 / 16; Tanks 80% full no other extras.
My measurement on the same spot were you measured is 36 cm.
This would mean that your Patrol is approximately 7 cm higher than my standard vehicle.
give or take...

Tinus se bakkie meet soos ek meet 860mm met n 2inch lift......................................sonder n motor. Haal net jou motor uit instant mega lift.

Bottom of rim to wheel arch varies from 83-85cm.
(Front 83-84, rear 84-85)

Re: 4500GRX: Nou het ek twee Patrols...
mine is about 76- 77 cm
if yours is 83- 85... than we look at the same ~ 7 cm increase in lift compared to the standard version.
