I saw this vehicle again today, so I left a card on the windscreen & the owner called me!

Nice guy named Mark, it was a 3.0l handgrenade... now has a healthy sounding Lexus powerplant.

I recomended he join the forum, hope we see him soon.

A few years ago me and my father went to see David in Warmbad about some manual hubs for his safari that also has a lexus in and he kindly explained how popular the lexus was among the boat guys... as anchors. :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:

Actually not, on good grounds too

The 1UZFE is aluminium, not good for anchoring at all.

On the other hand a diesel is cast iron, brilliant anchor!

Dawid, good soul, is about as biased as a swivel chassis.
