Fanus,

Fore safety sake also have the injectors checked at a reputable diesel engineering shop. At the same time change the glow plugs as winter is approaching. As most have stated, make sure the correct oil is in the LSD. Before you change this oil, please make sure the LSD is in operation. You might be spending a huge amount of money on this special oil for nothing. Mine is not operational and expense to have it fixed does not warrant me doing it.

I also agree with Russ that you change the coolant as well. As for engine oil, change every 5000 km and you will have a very reliable diesel machine.

Does anyone have patrol roll-bars or cattle rails lying around that I can purchase?
(Or swap for a canopy)?

I noticed that there is no recovery point on front of my vehicle. Not sure what the standard setup is, but I'm guessing that they used the recovery points to attach the wrap around bull-bar to. I'm actually considering removing this bullbar as it does nothing for the approach angle....alternatively I must attach recovery points to the bullbar, but I dont know if the bullbar would be strong enough?

Ja eish, the recovery points must come on to the chassis other wise you will risk safety when recovering. The bullbar does decrease aproach angle but it helps for bumps. Best of both would be a full bullbar then you can have aproach angle, bump stuff and just bolt the recovery points back onto the chassis. :mytwocents:
