Ja in 4x4, water is not ever your friend.
If your diffs were hot and the water level is above your breathers, then I think the theory goes that the diffs will suck in the water.
I notice you are based in Pretoria.
So if I were you I would take the car to Graham Cummings (Pathmaker on the forum) for a check-up.

Die Trollie kom standaard met redelikke goeie breathers, beter as meeste van die opposisie.

Die voorste ewenaar, ratkas en oordra-kas se breathers is gelee in die linker voorste wielboog, waar die enjin ook sy lug trek, terwyl die agterste ewenaar in een van die onderstel se kruis-stukke ingelei is, en die punte van die kruisstuk het proppe in. Probleme kan egter kom as 'n pypie verstop of geperish is, as die rat-hefboom se rubber geperish is of as een van die proppe op die kruisstuk uitgeval het.

Dit is verseker goeie praktyk om al die olies te check, maar jy hoef dit nie noodwendig te vervang tensy daar water in is nie. Haal die filler-proppe uit en kyk of daar water is, en as daar water is of die olie lyk melkerig, vervang dit.

Draai dan ook die onderste boutjie van elke kingpin bearing uit en krap met 'n draadjie in die gat en kyk of enige water uitkom.

As jy water raakboor daar, laat it net alles uitloop...

Maar aangesien jou lorrie nog nuut is, verwag ek nie probleme nie.

Thanks Josh, I intend to drive this vehicle untill it starts falling appart. Let's see how durable the current 3.0 tdi is.
