when I bought my patrol it had 238000km on. Bought it as full service history car. He had all the paperwork. Took it to a guy here that whent trough the whole car for me. When he opend the bearings, he said they were never serviced. Nissan never cheked them. Do it yourself. Nissan does not do it!

Re: Wheel Bearings....Lets talk serious.
Hi All,
I'm new to this group and new to the Patrol life.
I'm only reading this now. Did this workshop class happen back in 2012? Was photos/videos taken?
I have a broken front left hub on my 1991 Y60 TD42 Patrol. I'm planning to open the diff and hubs soon to give it a proper look through and fix where needed.
Cheers,
Philip.

Re: Wheel Bearings....Lets talk serious.
Welcome Philip... When you get a chance check this thread out ( http://www.patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=64 ) and start up a new thread, then you will feel even more part of the Patrol family.
I don't think that "workshop" was ever done, but like Tinus says, if the hubs are broken you can either replace with manual hubs or get from Dawid Volskenk on the forum, or do a search on hubs here on the forum. Michael did a nice comprehensive breakdown on servicing hubs that even I can follow....haha.
The Patrol bearings are as strong as the Lions Rugby team... ( very very strong ), so chances are that it will just need a cleanup and regrease and torqued to the correct torque, and you should be good to go
