What to look for

Post by Rcronje »

Hi Guys

I'm busy looking at buying a 4.5 Patrol. What are the pitfalls I need to look out for when test driving it. I own a Hilux now, but the space is getting to me and I've decided on a Patrol for a lot of reasons.

1. Space
2. Reliability.
3. Solid Axles
4. Big stong engines.
5. Value for Money
6. Looks.

Regards

There is no pitfalls - only the normal stuff that you need to check for any second hand vehicle.

don't buy a Patrol if you are scared of fuel consumption. 4500L engine = 4.5km/L.

Check the under side for damage, scrapes and use. If the mud flaps are on, it never did any serious 4x4.
