Hi, some questions on the auto locking hubs on my 2010 4.8 GRX:
1. When do they engage? I assume only in 4wd?
2. How do I manually lock the hubs, what sort of tool do I need?

Re: Auto locking hubs
1) They will lock as soon as there is power from the drivetrain to the wheel, thus 4H and 4L, they unlock if you change direction, i.e. fwd to reverse - even in 4H and 4L, but will lcok again for that direction. Thus for heavy work rather lock them normally.
2) Your standards issue wheel spanner should be used, or a socket of same size will be easier, do not need alot of power to lock it
