My 2003 3.0 GRX does 120km/h at just under 3000RPM with 265 75 16 tyres. Consumption, however is closer to 12L/100km, and i've just had the chip reset and dyna tuned at SAC. Ok, the roofrack does'nt help the consumption figure!!

Hallo Grootseun
What is this bigger Intercooler, where do you obtain that and what is the advantages. The oil catcher you talk about -what is that and where do you fit that?

Bekker , the Patrol is fitted with an intercooler as standard that is pretty useless , i have a bigger cooler made that i fit , have done my car and a few forum members cars - this drops EGT's and also increases performance and gives better fuel comumption

The Oil catch can just helps in aborbing the oil blow by that is standard on any turbo and thus keeps your intercooler and intake manifold cleaner

on the 3.0 Di PATROl -- the annex GX usually indicates manual shift 5-speed
the GRX annex indicates automatic, plus leater seats plus sun roof plus front & rear aircon and some other extras [elekrically adjustebale front seats and such]

So - they do come in automatic as well

Sit 275/70/16's op die 3.0l Trol en die speedo lees 100%, wel so na as spoeg daaraan.

Dis die rubber op my Trol en ek kry 120km/h teen 3000rpm (GPS en seedo)

al verskil is die 275/70/16's is baie duurder as die 265/75/16's.
