Re: Registration and police clearance
Good Luck!
Keep us informed - will be interesting to see how this pans out.
I'm thinking of building myself a new motor bike trailer and was wondering how to get the thing certified and roadworthy...

Re: Registration and police clearance
So I ended up buying the Jeep.....
All I have done so far (except for cleaning the oil off the paving) is to take the engine and chassis number on a piece of paper to the police clearance department to check that it is not stolen, and they gave me confirmation that it is not.
I will have to take the vehicle there for a proper clearance certificate, then it needs to be weighed at a weighbridge and a new registration will have to be done on e natis.
Its all possible, if you have 60 days leave in a year, anyway, just an update. I will let you know how it goes.
