What would be the reason for hiding text to non-members?
I feel it's great that anyone can see what is going on without being a member. Not everyone wants to post things or be a member, but want access to the knowledge on the forum.
As an example, I visited the Landcruiser forum, but could not access anything without registering.....that put me off so much and was very annoying.
I quite like the whole free for everyone thing going on this forum and i think that is why it is such a huge success!

I think the request might be to stop non members from accessing contact details posted, or maybe for trip info in case someone might try something funny
Soms is daar inligting wat mens nie met die hele wereld wil deel nie...
"hidden off" is displayed to forum members when text is hidden to non members...
To non members a message such as "you have to be registers and logged on ...blah blah to see text" is displayed..
P.S. in order to hide text in a post: select the text that you want to be hidden(can be one word or all the text) and click on the "H" icon/button (see pic).

Even if you use the hidden no one is prevented from registering as Piet Pogenpoel from Gatsonderwater and seeing it. If it is confidential use PM's or email or runner with forked stick or whatever.
