Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

I am experiencing much frustration - and are not sure where the problem lies.

When I login everything works fine - but as soon as I start jumping between posts and then return to the main page by clicking board index I am automatically logged out. Even when I am writing a post and save it as a draft because I want to copy & paste a photo form my gallery - everything works fine and I can return to the saved post draft - attach the picture but then as soon as I click on submit I am taken back to the log in page.

Any idea what could be the course of this???

PS: I am on a Telkom ADSL network at home - and don't experience connection problems.

No not really - it frustrates me!!

I can browse and read posts on the forum for as long as I want - but as soon as I go and post something (especially using the saved draft option to attach photos) then it throws me out and ack to the log in page. If I just reply to a posting without attaching anything or so then everything works fine - well 9 out of 10 times.

I am baffeled - never ever had any kind of problem and neither has anything changed om my latop (like new software or hardware or whatever)!!!

I replied to your message - click submit and no problem.
Then I selected "view your posts" - clicked on a new subject and boof I am out of the frum and right back at the log in page.

Very very very frustrating - and I honestly don't know what can be the cause of it - that's even more frustrating!!!!

PS: I had to log in twice now to make this second post - AAAHHH!!!!!

You need to delete all your cookies that refer to "patrol4x4.co.za"

I only use Firefox 4.01, but the following should apply to all other browsers although they may use slightly different terminology.

Go to the 'Tools' tab, then:

- options
- privacy tab
- remove individual cookies link
- search for all incidences of "patrol4x4.co.za" and delete them

You will have to log in again afterwards but the browser should now retain your log-in settings.

Be careful you do not delete ALL cookies, although this is not necessarily a bad thing either. It would simply require you to re-enter your log-in info on any other forum or site requiring a log-in. It is a good thing to flush the cookie cache now & then. Also, ensure you are using the very latest version of your browser.
