Re: The CORRECT way to Calibrate your speedo

Reef Industrial (RIMI) also does it. There is a adjustment pod on the instrument cluster that adjusts the speedo. There is also one for the rev counter. Adjusting is done with a 4mm flat electrical screwdriver. It took them 2 minutes to correct my revcounter on my GU Patrol some 10 years ago I remov...

Search for "DE7726 Wheel Arch Trim" on their website. They come in grey and black.

Have you replaced no 2 cylinder's sparkplug lead? Could be a faulty lead.

Re: Overlanding - Namibia

I am running Maxxis 764 Bighorns on my recently acquired TB45, I have not used them in anger other than one outing to De Wildt. On my TD30 Patrol I currently use Sailun Terramax MTR. They wear very quickly, I MAY get 40k km out of them, but they are quiet and great off road. I did the Patrol 70th an...

Re: Overlanding - Namibia

I will rather have 3 tyres with damage like that than ever fitting BFGs. After two sets of ATRs that were lethal on both dry wet tar and chipped like so that it looked like rats got hold of them, plus one set of MTRs that was crazy noisy. It was enough to say goodbye to them. After just more than 60...

Re: TB42S (Carb) aftermarket EFI options

Nothing against GU owners or their cars, and I hope this is taken offensively, I just think the square, muscular, bulging arches, and lines of a GQ are just perfect for me, I also like a more simple or "basic" vehicle. The GU is much more generic SUV/Wagon/4x4 in my opinion, at least unmo...

Re: Power Window motor - where to get?

Never lubricate window rubbers by spraying on silicone, it will attract dust and dries out over time, causing it to move with even greater difficulty. Get a small bottle of graphite powder at Builders Warehouse in the lock department. The bottles contain about 50ml of graphite and is made from softi...
