Re: New to WP in a Patrol

Unfortunately, and yet fortunately, Frans is very very busy, and sometimes he doesn't get to see the PM' s on here. I'll send you a PM with his contact number. You may have to try a few times as he will probably be underneath some vehicle doing what he does best. So don't stress if he doesn't call y...

Re: Dash gauge console

JP, as soon as I have made yours, I'll give you a call and we can see where you want to put it exactly. One has to strip off the outer casing of that to make it fit nicely. According to my measurements it should fit perfectly, but there is a little work needed on the gauges themselves first. ..... I...

Re: Dunlop MT

Re: Dash gauge console

hahaha... Thanks Peter, I appreciate your help and advice you gave me. And the GQ dash is a nice square look too, so would be so much easier too work out than all the curvy GU #$@%?. Also one doesn't have to use it for gauges... if one wants a double din radio, then the 2 way radio can go in the pod.

Re: Dash gauge console

I wish I could Ian... Even I was caught off guard :surprised: when I added up all the costs. 2 paint brushes per pod, wax, pva release, gelcoat, epoxy resin, thin fibre matting, thick fibre matting, acetone ( lots of it ), fibreglass roller ( stupid money for that thing), latex gloves, dust masks, c...

Re: Dash gauge console

You will see on the brushed aluminium cover plate the slight hiccup on the top left of the far left gauge. I'll fix that up when I get time, or I may just make a matt black cover plate, I'll see how it goes. These things are unfortunately not cheap to manufacture, I can only make one a day, and the ...

Re: L28 Na RD28

What condition is the RD28 in? R14K doesnt seem too bad if you just want to mission around on a twee spoor pad.

The other alternative is to fit a TD42 motor in there, but that will cost a lot more, but then you will have a beast
