Re: TD42 all of a sudden overheating
Evening Cedric . Did you manage to sort out your overheating problem yet ? You say that when it was idling , the temperature went up high with the aircon on . Was the electric fan for the aircon working ? Your vicous fan clutch is not working properly any more , it should have kicked in before the e...

GOOD DAY GENTS . PLEASE GENTS !!! When we work on our patrols , try to be safety conscious !! HOLLOW BLOCKS , that's a wonderful way to get hurt ! When one block collapses , it will cause all the others to break because of the sudden load transfer . Jack stands are cheaper than hospital and or a cof...

Re: Rapid inflation deflation system

The pipe fittings are also standard 1/8th gas thread with the steel pipes being brake tubing . The flexibl...

Lets hope JULES can do it for me . My new swivels that I am prototyping at the moment , will fit insi...

Re: Spare parts oil catch can
Hello Dustin . On your "oil seperator" , you have used a blue soft airline pipe for draining the unit . That blue pipe will not last very long with oil and high under bonnet temperatures . Rather use the black nylon pipe , as used on trucks . Don't fold it over , just heat the end with a h...

Re: Rapid inflation deflation system
GOOD DAY GENTS . I see you guys are talking about inflating and deflating tyres for different terrain types . On my Safari , I have a central tyre inflation system , where I can inflate or deflate the tyres while traveling . The system uses swivels on the hubs of each wheel , with each wheel having ...

Good day JOHANN . Don't worry about your gearbox , if your motor is pushing out more than 600KW , THEN be worried about your gearbox ! The racing patrols for the outback challenge use standard gearbox and drive train with motors pushing out up to 600KW . WISH I HAD 600KW UNDER THE BONNET !

Re: My V8
GOOD DAY ALEX . You say water is affecting your injectors , the electrical plugs on your injectors should have little rubber lip type seals in them . Are the seals still there ? They do some times fall out when unplugged . The signal pulse to the injector is running to earth through the water , caus...
