Wow! Well done!
Mine is very similiar to what yours was if I remember, and I was thinking maybe only R180k at an absolute stretch.
Great to know. Mine will be for sale in the next couple months :surprised:

Re: Rear storage suggestions

My setup is very very similar to Steele's one, but I just have the fridge on the other side as its then easier to just open the small door to grab that beer quickly. It works for us, but, more often than not you land up with all of the ammo boxes unpacked and on the floor outside the vehicle cos gua...

Re: Patrol Value

Thanks Graham, I saw that, there is also a very ambitious sale on Gumtree. Not so sure those values are realistic, but would be nice! I was offered R140k from we buy cars today. I think that is a little low. Dale Sheesh, I'll give you R150k for it then! Surely thats half what its actually...

Re: Patrol Value

The Patrols seem to be holding their value quite well lately, and , I would say their current market values arent matching what the dealer's little book will tell him, so, I think a place like webuy cars or a dealer will undervalue it big time. For interest, I see a guy has his diesel advertised on ...

Wow, thats some pretty proper damage there!
Thanks for sharing. Anyone else with anymore photos?

Must say I had my eye on this one, even worked out how to fit a single mattress inside the patrol, next to the fridge, for some comfy solo camping. But then life got in the way.

It’s a pity each forum picks up a doos along the way every now and then….

Thanks Ian. Agreed 100% with this.

Re: Essential toolbox items

I permanently keep my stuff in the drawer system. It does not take up much room - far less than an ammo crate. I don't have a full inventory with my, but I think it is more or less as follows: Tools 1: Full set of spanners. 2: Full set of sockets. 3: Ratchet and power bar 5: Shifting spanner. 4: Se...

Re: Diff Ratios

Spike is correct, if the diff ratios arent changed, ie, if you put the bigger tyres on the standard diff rations, it makes the speedo pretty much bang on accurate. With the ratio change, it does buggerup the speedo and odo by about 10%. I havent been able to accurately calculate the exact percentage...
