Re: Who is using Ironman suspension kits?

Thanks Peter.

I did think about that, but I’m a little nervous of putting new shocks on and then finding two months down the line that the springs are actually shot.

I’m not really sure what to do. It would be great to be able to get away with just doing shocks though!

Re: Who is using Ironman suspension kits?

Ok, so a year and a half later and my OME kit that NMAD kindly sold (or maybe even gave me, I cant remember now) has bombed out, the patrol is a squeaking, bouncing mess at the moment.

Going to start getting some quotes on Ironman kits now.

Re: Patrol - daily drive

I drive the 4.8 on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Best days of the week for me. I’m so relaxed when I get home after driving it, even my wife comments on how nice I am when I get home after I’ve driven it. :rolling: Hopefully there will be a td42 in the garage soon, and then I’ll use it everyday. But the dash rev counter shows a red line at just over 4000 rpm which is diesel......

but the pic of the engine shows HT leads
A quick google image search for a tb42 rev counter shows the same. I cant remember at all what my old rev counter showed.
We'll need a GQ'er to help here
