Fanus (SJC) had a nice one for sale for a giveaway price. It might still be available.

Edit: It seems it has been sold...
I believe Fanus' 4.5 has a new owner, is currently in Kimberley and is on its way to Namibia.

Parts-wise, al the info is here: http://www.patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=8071 But to summarise: Nissan par...

how much Ian...maybe case of beers or similar................... :blonde: :blonde: Errol, Sorry - items such as these are normally are a little more than a case of beer... Indeed, it cost me quite a bit more than a case of beer to procure. :rolling: I wanted to get a spare rim, and I did, but my ci...

Re: Second Battery System

If it works without heat issues, I will buy you a case of beer. I have used my winch in anger twice. Once to straighten a bent steering arm on an SFA Hilux (truth - I have dashcam footage, albeit only of me stopping next to the stricken vehicle and then my open bonnet), and the other occasion to hau...

Re: Second Battery System

Craig, Checked it this morning, and that was my idea.... Biggest issue for me, would be airflow. Volume-wise, in terms of the space a winch occupies, the winch will be considerably larger than the average battery. But it will let a lot more air through than the battery will. But I guess nobody knows...
