Nissan Neo ZD 30
Hi all, long time since I have visited or contributed to the site. Well here goes, asking for some help for my grenaded ZD30. I blew the motor a while ago and have simply parked the Patrol in my garage. The time has arrived to make a decision. I have found a very good ZD 30 motor from a Nissan Neo.T...

Re: Keeping ZD 30 cool
Fit EGT before Turbo, set alarm to 650 degrees as a maximum safe operating for short periods of time . Fit oil catch can to prevent oil from settling on the valves. Fit bigger intercooler. Ensure that the MAF is clean and not over-boosting. Fit a bigger diameter exhaust. Do the oil services no more ...

My Patrol, I have it

I am still a little worried about the 3.0D as I really wanted a 4,2 The 4,5's were plentiful but fuel consumption and my head won the battle. After owning (still do) a 3,5 V6 Pajero I know what heavy fuel consumptio...

Hi Reinier,
I am still working out how to post photo's, not as easy as the community forum. My Patrol is still high on the priority list, maybee I should have taken that GU, I believe it sold for R78000.00 voetstoets, I would gladly have paid that and more.

Moordkuyl 4x4 Route (Mosselbay)
Well this is a new "old" route. The route was established in the 1990's and lived a long happy life until a small case of a divorse forced a sale. The new owner, or rather a partner was not into 4x4's and closed the trail. About three years ago there was an attempt at re-opening a section ...
