hahaha..... yip that is true !!! But we didn't buy these monster machines for fuel consumption !! The other nice thing about the TD42 motor is that it can run on almost any type of fuel. So if you are ever in a dodgy part of Africa and Paraffin is all you can get..... that td42 motor will even run o...

I get between 6km/l to 9km/l depending on load and how I drive. it out performs the 4.2 turbo (the fastest one I know of on the forum anyways). die 4x4 [Safari & Patrol] se sump is anders as die Skyline en Laurel se 2,8 enjins s'n .. Maak seker daar is plek vir die vooras om hoog genoeg op te gaan [af dan nou vir die enjin & bak om laag genoeg af te gaan :-)

Hi Edward, there is no oil thrust washer or such a thing but you have to make sure that the new seal is a directional seal.....very important !!!!!
