Re: RaceChip® Pro2

Fanus, As a 4.2 diesel owner as well as Cedric and Christo and Michael( sorry Michael never met you) we can attest to the reliability this engine has. Simply makes sure you change the oil and keep the diesel clean and you will have a reliable engine that very few can match. All of us have turbo and ...

It is the same bar that is used with the TD42Ti variant,... and to my knowledge i havnt heard/seen any negative issues being raised with the owners...

Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

42mm spacers each side will do the trick boet. Also, if you cannot do the suspension lift for a while, then i suggest the following as a far cheaper alternative that will work perfectly fine until such time. - Make some extended shackles for the rear leaf springs , easy, if you extend 75mm pin to pi...

Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

If I remember correctly, you were looking for a roll-bar for the Patrol Pick-up. I see there is one advertised on the community forum - http://www.4x4community.co.za/classifie ... trol/cat/5

Hope it helps.

One on each is a longer bolt with a rounded head and a jam nut. This is what you need to adjust. Unscrew a turn, hold with spanner while locking t...

Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

Its the Protruding nut visible in the pics. In the top view you will see the nut making contact with the axle tube, this limits the "Turning Circle" in essence, by limiting the extremes in regard to wheel axis.

Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

Hi Fanus. Maybe this helps. The 10A fuse will be on the wiring that trigers the relay that in turn closes the circuit to the glow plugs and they will have the 100A fuse on their citcuit. To answer your questions, It will not start or run without glow plugs. It can however start with fualty glow plug...

Re: My Patrol Pickup thread...

I think i'll have a look at the battery first. Maybe not enough power to warm the glowplugs up propperly? But its not every time that i need to turn ignition twice. This morning in the cold it started right way. The engine runs very smoothly, even at startup. The smoke is more of a puff when the eg...
