Re: Bumper Parts Code

Tinus, I think those tail lights on his Patrol ( white one ) are fine for SA as the top I assume is indicators ( orange globe inside ) and revers and brake and tail tights at the bottom. I see 2 options..... first option is to get yourself truck taillights ( possibly LED ones ) and cut 2 holes each ...

Re: Awning Question

I think steel is out of the question for your application as you want to keep the weight to an absolute minimum on the roof. Peters awning is indeed strong, but with strength comes weight. The carbon fibre sheets can work however, traveling at any speed ( above probably 30-40Km/h) the sheets would s...

Re: Need advice Steering wobble

I used this youtube video as a reference, and its pretty much spot on. Even the *^%#% two bolts close to the hub as he describes was relatively easily removed after listening to him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BtdFmyFv9s If I recall it took me longer to jack the car up and remove the wheels tha...

Re: New Camping equippment

There are many places that can offer you a replacement tent in the Jo'burg area, but there is also a lot of tents that are imported into SA from various countries. I would recommend visiting Tentco in Boksburg ( just East of Jo'burg - very close to OR Tambo Airport ). They have a good selection and ...

ZD30 Airbox filters

I don't know if anyone else battles to get air filters for the ZD30 Patrols. My 4.2 has a ZD30 Airbox fitted to accommodate the turbo, and other than buying a Nissan air filter at probably some ridiculous price, i have been trying to source a decent filter for my Patrol for ages. I normally ask my l...
